Metropedia is an internet encyclopedia written by Anthony Ratkov. I chose the name Metropedia because I lived in Metro Towers,an apartment building in Harrison Township,Michigan for three years. In Harrison Township we have a beach called Metro Beach. There's a newspaper in Detroit called The Metro Times,and the local airport in the suburbs of Detroit is called Metro Airport,so the name Metropedia seemed to be a logical choice of name for this encyclopedia.
