Warlick,James. James Warlick is the American ambassador to Bulgaria. Ambassador Warlick has been surrounded by controversy. Several Bulgarians said that they heard Warlick saying that he thought that drugs should be legalized in Bulgaria. Because of this, he was denounced by young socialists in Bulgaria. The young socialists were members of the Bulgarian Socialist Party's youth branch. The Bulgarian website Novinite had published an article about this on March 17,2011. Later, on May 16,2011, Novinite published a story that said that the former Bulgarian interior minister, Rumen Petkov, had denounced Warlick, and he said Warlick was 'trash'.
Novinite reported on December 6,2011 that Warlick was surrounded by controversy again. This time the controversy was about copyright violations. Warlick had admitted that he had downloaded 'pirated content' from websites, and he maintained that it was wrong for other people to do it, since it amounted to copyright violation. This meant that Warlick appeared to be a hypocrite, because he's saying that it's okay for him to violate copyright laws, but it's not for anyone else to violate copyright laws.

Withering Away Of The State. The idea of 'withering away of the state' was an idea that was discussed by many communists, it is a political theory that says, if everyone was a member of a local communist organization, the authority of the central state government would be diminished, the state would fade away and cease to exist. The theory maintains that if every person in the country was active in a neighborhood communist organization, these local organizations could satisfy all their political needs, and since there would be no more need for a central state government, the state would 'wither away', hence the term, 'withering away of the state'. The idea of 'withering away of the state' was embraced by some liberal and idealistic communists, but most communists rejected the idea as unrealistic and impractical.
